Abstract In order to monitor the resistance state of urban cables online and obtain cable line insulation accurately, an monitoring method based on grey-Markov error back-stepping model is proposed, system designed. The calculated by combining fuzzy membership function evidence synthesis algorithm, grey theory applied predict data calculate relative between predicted value original data. Based this error, a Markov used project gray at certain time in future, accurate prediction status obtained formula. implementation path proposed using high-performance embedded processor combined with paper. experimental findings suggest that can ground equivalent capacitance lines online, measurement within 3%.
